Okay, so I presently have been working at a grocery store, stocking shelves and all that fun stuff. So basically I stock two aisles, the salad dressing, mayonaise, etc. and the coffee, iced tea, cookies, etc. aisle. Whenever I pack out the coffee aisle, there is one thing that really irks me…
…Nescafe’s “Taster’s Choice Coffee!” I mean, what is it with this stuff?! TASTER’S Choice? It’s the choice of [THE] Taster? Just who is this “Taster” and what does he know about tasting? Apparently everything I guess, because people actually enjoy this stuff! There’s a picture of this anonymous hero right on every package of “Taster’s Choice” including each individual one of those Taster’s Choice To-Go type stick things.
What is the Taster’s real name though? Why can’t we be told? Is it out of fear we’d light his tounge on fire so he won’t be able to taste anymore? Just look at his picture! He looks so serious about this whole tasting business!
Maybe I should dump random things into a bowl, mix ‘em up and taste the end result? I tasted it, that makes me a taster right? The taster of this product? So will I be able to market it as a hero too?
Who knows.
I’d reccomend a boycott but I don’t want to hurt the Taster’s feelings.
