The Last Pickle

An old man opens up a jar of pickles and soon after his life turns into one. Eventually his short temper catches up with him after blowing up at his grandson.

Written, filmed and edited by myself for my Intro to Digital Film Making final project (CIN 117).

Loud, painful high-fives go out to my awesome cast: Alex Wagner, Michael Hirsch, Tom Grisanti, Raymond Weber & Chris Gonzalez. The lot were home for Thanksgiving break giving us limited time but we managed to film the entire project (98 takes over eight different locations) in just over five hours.

This is also my first project produced using Final Cut Pro.

Filmed using a Canon Rebel T1i and the following lenses…

Canon EF-S18-55mm (3.5-5.6) w/Digital Concepts 0.45x Wide Angle Adapter
Canon EF-S 55-250mm (4-5.6)

In this project for my radio production class we were told to produce a commercial based upon an actual script. We were all given the script to a commercial for Cyndi Lauper’s Memphis to Mardis Gras Tour with Doctor John and here’s my take on it:

Narration Project: Skip It

Project: 2-3 Minute Narration

For my radio production class I was given the task of creating a 2-3 minute narration for practically anything. After some clever thinking I decided upon producing a piece on the hit toy from the 90′s, the “Skip It.” Now, being it’s a production course the instructor was of course more concerned about the production quality than having true to the point facts so I took a little artistic freedom with this. Smithtown East Spring Concert 2010

La Muerte de un Sueño

The story of a young lover and the girl and best friend that broke his heart. La Muerte de un Sueno, or, “The Death of a Dream,” was filmed and edited by me for a friend’s Spanish project. (Remember the Global Warming video from last year?) Obviously because it’s for a Spanish class, the language is… well… Spanish. There are however English captions available so don’t be scared away!

Well this one was a lot of fun to make. Some friends came and asked me for help making a video for one of their classes and I offered to do the filming and editing for it. After just two days of filming and editing, the video was finished and adored by tons of viewers throughout the school. Pretty awesome. Just adding a disclaimer to be fair: Not all interviews reflect the actual views and opinions of the people being questioned. Enjoy!
